Ramana Balachandhran, the 20-year-old Veena prodigy, is known as one of the youngest Vainikas (Veena players), has graced some of the best venues, Sabhas, and music festivals of Carnatic music around the world. He is the son of Carnatic music practitioners Balachandhran and Sharanya.
His talent for music was noticed when he was a toddler. With no formal training, he could identify ragas and point out nuances. He is also a talented Mridangam player.
Quoting the incredible Shankar Mahadevan, “as musicians, when we hear an outstanding and supremely talented artist (like Ramana), its our duty to let the world know, because my heart is jumping with joy when I heard a Carnatic musician of this caliber, after a long time”.
This Behind the Music session is hosted by the inimitable Mridangam player, a global ambassadors of percussion, and one of LivDemy’s most successful mentors, BC Manjunath. In several occasions, both Ramana and Manjunath has collaborated musically in person as well as virtually.

How do I attend the session?
The sessions will be held on livdemy.com. Log onto the site with your registered account 15 minutes before the time of the session and go to the session page. You should see a button to enter the password there when the session starts.Test your mic and video just to make sure everything is working fine.
I'm not able to see or hear anything while in session. What should I do?
LivDemy sessions are best attended on Chrome or Firefox. Make sure your browser is updated to the latest version. If you are still facing any technical issue, please try refreshing your browser. Will I get a recording of this session?

How can I take a live chat in the session?
