The Bamboo Flute-Techniques for
By Rasika Shekar
By Mangalam Maloo ft. Rasika Shekar
Welcome to In conversation with Rasika Shekar
This is a Free Live, interactive podcast between two wanderers who've become pilgrims to music - and you.
In a world where ancient music has long been forgotten and modern music is more virtual than physical, we're talking about an epic resurrection of true instrumentalists.
Mangalam Maloo, extraordinary anchor and a true music lover, talks with Rasika Shekar about her journey as a flutist and singer - what propelled her into monumental success, and what we as students of music need to know about instrumental music.
Come learn how Rasika Shekar blows people away with her flute renditions by tapping into an ancient understanding of music, why most pop music feels inauthentic, and what musicians need to respect, to be respected.
“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything.” – Plato, obviously speaking about Rasika's flute performances.
