Flautist, singer, composer, Rasika Shekar is an alumni and scholarship recipient at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. Her music education began at the age of seven, training in Carnatic music and continues to be molded by her gurus. Rasika’s music is an amalgam of decades of learning in the Carnatic and Hindustani tradition of music. She effortlessly fuses her rooted Indian sensibilities with global genres to create a soundscape so unique, that it shines like a crepuscular ray in today’s contemporary music scene. Her distinctive sound as a vocalist and flautist has led her to collaborate with some of the biggest names internationally like John McLaughlin, Shankar Mahadevan, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, classical legends like Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan, Ustad Shujaat Ali Khan, and many other renowned artists. She has been featured in shows like MTV Coke Studio, SRGMP, KBC and lent her voice to Bollywood films.

  • How do I join this class?
    It's simple! Once you register for a group class, you'll be given an option to select a batch. Once you complete the payment, you're in!
  • What batch should I pick?
    We have batches based on the artist's availability. Pick any batch that suits your timing, and the experience will be the same across all batches.
  • How do I attend the classes?
    You'll always have access to the group class from within the 'My Courses' section on your Dashboard. You can also come online on livdemy.com at your chosen batch time, and head to the class page! You can get to the Course Dashboard from there.
  • What happens when I miss a class?
    We'll be recording the content for you in case you are unable to make it to the class. If you miss out on anything, you'll have access to the recording in your Course Dashboard. These class recordings are available upto 6 months from the day the class is over.
  • Do I get study material?
    Your teacher might provide you study material to go along with particular lessons. On your class page, you have a lesson plan which would have the files you need to download.
