This class will be an attempt to explore the beauty of Raga Bageshree and is meant for students of Classical music. We will cover the following in this class:
- Introduction to Raga Bageshree
- Thaat, Aroh Avroh, other vital notes
- Important elements of the raga
- Most important Improvisations which are often used in movie songs
- Bandish - Barabar ki Lay
- Taan
The masterclass will be in Lecture, Demonstration and QandA format. I would encourage everyone to ask questions and I would be happy to answer them. How do I attend the session?
The sessions will be held on livdemy.com. Log onto the site with your registered account 15 minutes before the time of the session and go to the session page. You should see a button to enter the password there when the session starts.Test your mic and video just to make sure everything is working fine.
I'm not able to see or hear anything while in session. What should I do?
LivDemy sessions are best attended on Chrome or Firefox. Make sure your browser is updated to the latest version. If you are still facing any technical issue, please try refreshing your browser. Will I get a recording of this session?
