Study and application of the Basics of Carnatic Music for Vocal training
In this workshop, we will be going through the basics of the Carnatic Music set for Vocal Training.
Topics that would be covered in this workshop:
Introduction to the Basic Lessons:
Sarali Varasais, Janti Varasais, Tara Sthayi and Mandra Sthayi Swaras, Daatu Varasais and Alankaaras.
Understanding the systematic and Scientific approach:
The approach of these lessons to help vocalists focus on Placing notes with precision on a tonal graph both linearly and by skipping swaras.
Improving flexibility of the voice in the sthayis (Octaves):
Above and below the Madhya Sthayi.
Understanding swara patterns and their application:
Understanding through Alankaras.
Some of the pre-recorded class material will be available as soon as you register. You can view them. Come back to the live interactive session, where Chandana ji will be able to answer any of your questions and doubts.

Chandana Bala Kalyan
Chandana Bala Kalyan is primarily a Karnatak classical vocalist and graded A in both classical vocal and devotional music from All India Radio Bangalore. She is a recipient of the MS Subbulakshmi award given by Vishakha Academy of music Visakhapatnam and also Ananya puraskara given by Ananya Bangalore.

How do I attend the session?
The sessions will be held on livdemy.com. Log onto the site with your registered account 15 minutes before the time of the session and go to the session page. You should see a button to enter the password there when the session starts.Test your mic and video just to make sure everything is working fine.
I'm not able to see or hear anything while in session. What should I do?
LivDemy sessions are best attended on Chrome or Firefox. Make sure your browser is updated to the latest version. If you are still facing any technical issue, please try refreshing your browser. Will I get a recording of this session?

How can I take a live chat in the session?
